Mūsa Mežciems to boost Omoda and Jaecoo car sales in the Baltics

On 1 August 2026, Latvian dealer Mūsa Mežciems staged the first city launch of Omoda and Jaecoo models in Riga’s Hanzas Perona courtyard, attracting a large number of visitors.

The event featured numerous test‑drive registrations, which the company says demonstrates genuine buyer interest. Mūsa Mežciems plans to actively increase sales of the two brands throughout the Baltic market. Dealer head Girts Zemitis said, “The event clearly showed that people want to discover new car brands and are ready to evaluate alternatives to well‑known manufacturers.” He added that consumers now assess design, technology, quality and price rather than brand name alone, and that Omoda and Jaecoo can compete with traditional European manufacturers.
