MS&AD promotes Brian Botkin to International Chief Underwriting Officer

MS&AD Insurance Group has promoted Brian Botkin to the position of International Chief Underwriting Officer. Botkin previously served as the Chief Underwriting Officer for MSIG USA, where he led enterprise underwriting strategy and integrated data and analytics into decision-making processes.

In his new global capacity, Botkin will oversee underwriting strategy, governance, and portfolio management across MS&AD’s international markets. The move is intended to expand the group’s international specialty capabilities and foster the connection of underwriting expertise and best practices across its various global business units.
