MSC Cruises announces winter deployment plans for Canary Islands and Mediterranean
MSC Cruises has announced expanded deployment plans for its upcoming winter seasons. For the winter 2027-28 season, the MSC Euribia will be deployed to the Canary Islands and Madeira, offering seven-night itineraries. This deployment follows the popularity of the region among travelers. The MSC Fantasia will take over the Euribia’s current seven-night Western Mediterranean program, sailing round-trip from Barcelona with stops in France, Italy, and Tunisia.
Looking ahead to the 2026/2027 winter season, the company is significantly expanding its reach. MSC Cruises plans to station nine ships in the Caribbean and Antilles, including the MSC World Europa. Additionally, the new flagship MSC World Asia is scheduled for its first winter season in the Mediterranean starting in December 2026, operating out of Barcelona. In total, the company expects to have six ships operating in the Mediterranean during the 2026/2027 winter period.
