MSC Cruises launches Brazil ESG leadership cruise and 2026‑27 Splendida season

Brazil will host its first women‑focused ESG leadership cruise, the W ESG, from 17 to 20 December 2026. The three‑day sailing will depart Santos aboard MSC Música and travel to Búzios, featuring panels on innovation, diversity, AI and other topics, and an ESG award that recognises projects led by women in health, gender equality and industry, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative was created by Patrícia Mantovani and Pamella Florentino.

In the same period, MSC Splendida will return to Brazil for the 2026‑27 cruise season, which runs from 31 October to 9 April. The ship, 333 m long with capacity for over 4,300 guests, will sail from eight Brazilian ports and also call at Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Uruguay. The season is part of MSC’s expanded South‑American program that includes six other vessels, offering a range of dining, entertainment and wellness amenities.
