MSC Cruises launches visa‑free Caribbean cruise itinerary for Brazilian travelers

MSC Cruises announced a new South Caribbean and Antilles cruise program that will depart from La Romana in the Dominican Republic. The itineraries, offered on the MSC Opera ship, start in November 2026 with weekly sailings and are scheduled to run through 2028. Packages include round‑trip flights between São Paulo and Punta Cana, airport‑hotel‑port transfers, two nights of accommodation in La Romana and a 7‑night cruise, and they do not require a visa for Brazilian passengers at any of the listed ports.

The launch was presented to Brazilian travel agents and partners at an event in São Paulo, where representatives from Gol, Hilton Garden Inn La Romana, Redion and other regional stakeholders highlighted the connectivity and tourism opportunities. MSC executives emphasized the company’s global expansion and the growing relevance of the Dominican Republic as a destination for Brazilian tourists.
