MSC Cruises to debut flagship MSC World Asia in December 2026

MSC Cruises has announced the upcoming debut of its new flagship, MSC World Asia, which is scheduled to begin sailing in the Western Mediterranean in December 2026. The vessel will offer seven-night itineraries connecting major destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia, Messina, and Valletta.

Designed as a “city at sea,” the MSC World Asia will feature over 40 bars, lounges, and restaurants across seven distinct onboard districts. Notable amenities include a new Pan-Asian street food concept, an 81.3-meter dry slide, and “The Harbour,” an outdoor destination featuring a 50-meter over-water swing ride called Cliffhanger. For premium travelers, the ship will offer the MSC Yacht Club, a “ship-within-a-ship” concept providing private facilities and 24-hour butler services.

The expansion is part of a broader winter 2026/2027 program that aims to provide diverse travel options across 72 countries and 168 destinations, ranging from the Caribbean and Canary Islands to Northern Europe.
