MSC Cruises to deploy nine ships in the Caribbean for 2027-28 season
MSC Cruises has announced its deployment plan for the 2027-28 winter season in the Caribbean, which will feature nine ships. Seven vessels will operate from homeports in the United States, while two will sail from Martinique, Guadeloupe, and the Dominican Republic.
The deployment includes the debut of two World-class ships: the MSC World Atlantic and the MSC World Asia. The MSC World Atlantic, an LNG-powered vessel, will operate from Port Canaveral with itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The MSC World Asia will take over Southern Caribbean itineraries, offering seven-night cruises to the Lesser Antilles from Guadeloupe and Martinique.
Other notable deployments include the MSC World America in Miami, alongside the MSC Seashore, MSC Seaside, and MSC Poesia. Additionally, the MSC Seascape will continue to serve Galveston for Western Caribbean cruises, and the MSC Opera will support year-round operations in the Dominican Republic.
