MSC suspends Black Sea routes after drone attack on vessel

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Co., the world’s largest container shipping company, has announced an immediate suspension of all new cargo bookings to and from the Russian port of Novorossiysk.

The decision follows a drone attack on one of the company’s vessels, the ULSAN III, while it was en route to the Black Sea port. The company has notified its customers that new shipping schedules are being interrupted effective immediately.
