MSC Virtuosa concludes summer cruise season in UK and Ireland
The MSC Virtuosa is concluding its summer cruise season in the United Kingdom and Ireland. In Ireland, the Port of Cork is set to wrap up its 2026 cruise tourism season on October 16 with the arrival of the vessel at the Cobh Cruise Terminal. The Port of Cork expects the 2026 season to conclude with approximately 160,000 passenger visits across 95 cruise calls, including visits to Cobh, Ringaskiddy, and Cork City Quays.
Following its departures from the UK and Ireland, the MSC Virtuosa is scheduled to perform a series of short cruises to Northern Europe and Iberia. The ship will then undertake a 25-night trans-Atlantic repositioning voyage from Southampton to South America, scheduled for November 7, 2026. This voyage will include stops in the Mediterranean and Brazil, leading into a winter season operating out of Brazilian ports such as Santos, Salvador, and Maceió.
