MSC World Atlantic completes float-out in France

MSC Cruises has reached a major construction milestone with the float-out of its next flagship, the MSC World Atlantic. The vessel touched water for the first time at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

The MSC World Atlantic will be the 25th ship in the MSC Cruises fleet and the fourth vessel in its World Class series. Following the float-out, the ship will remain at the shipyard for the outfitting phase, which includes the completion of interiors, public spaces, and final technical elements.

Designed to combine European style with American comfort, the ship is scheduled to debut on November 13, 2027. It will operate out of Port Canaveral, Florida, offering alternating 7-night and 14-night cruises to various destinations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, including the Bahamas and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
