MSD Hellas to host HPV awareness events in Aetolia-Acarnania

MSD Hellas is organizing a series of four public awareness events across Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece, focused on the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and the importance of prevention. The initiative, titled ‘The health of children and adolescents at the center’, aims to provide scientifically backed information regarding HPV, its impact, and the role of vaccination in preventing cervical cancer.

The events will take place in Amfilochia (October 19, 2026), Nafpaktos (October 21, 2026), Missolonghi (November 9, 2026), and Agrinio (November 11, 2026). Specialized medical professionals, including gynecological oncologist Christos Mavraganis, pediatrician Aglaia Gourlia-Mitromara, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics Despoina Gentzi from the University of Patras, will lead the presentations and participate in open discussions to answer public inquiries.
