MSD inaugurates new Technology Centre in Hyderabad

Biopharmaceutical company MSD has inaugurated a new 250,000-square-foot Technology Centre in Hyderabad, India. The facility is designed to integrate advanced capabilities in digital, data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and engineering to support the company’s global Human Health business.

Inaugurated by Telangana Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, D. Sridhar Babu, the centre aims to leverage Hyderabad’s growing ecosystem of over 2,000 life sciences companies. The state is currently transitioning from a manufacturing-focused base toward advanced research and development, innovation, and global capability centers. The Minister noted that the state's Next-Gen Life Sciences Policy 2026–30 seeks to strengthen the convergence of science and technology in the region.
