MSF Merdeka Race returns to Sepang International Circuit

The ninth edition of the Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF) Merdeka Race is scheduled to take place at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit from August 29 to 30. The event features over 200 racing machines and approximately 300 competitors participating in both four-wheel and two-wheel categories.

The headline event for cars is the MSF SuperTurismo Merdeka 111 Endurance, a 111-lap race covering roughly 615 km. Starting at 5:30 pm on Sunday, August 30, the race is expected to conclude near midnight to coincide with Malaysia’s 69th Merdeka Day celebrations. Teams must utilize at least two drivers per car and complete a minimum of two compulsory three-minute pitstops.

Motorcycle racing will also feature prominently, including the MotoMSF Superbikes Merdeka 33 Endurance on the South Track, covering nearly 183 km. The motorcycle program also includes the American V-Twin Cup by Prodigy Racecraft, featuring Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The weekend's activities begin on Saturday night with several sprint races.
