MSI expands into EV charging market with EZgo and Eco Series

MSI has expanded its presence in the eco-friendly energy market with the launch of its EZgo portable electric vehicle (EV) charger in South Korea. The EZgo is a plug-and-charge device designed to connect directly to standard power outlets without requiring additional installation. It supports a maximum output of up to 3.5 kW via a Type E+F plug and up to 7 kW using a CEE plug.

The portable charger features an 1.8-inch LCD screen, multi-color LED indicators, and Bluetooth connectivity through the MSI aConnect App, allowing users to monitor charging status and schedule times via smartphone. Safety features include an automatic shut-off function at 90 degrees Celsius, overload protection, and leakage detection. The device holds an IP66 waterproof and dustproof rating and has obtained Korea's KC62752 safety certification.

Additionally, MSI offers the Eco Series of EV chargers, which are designed for home use. These chargers can operate on single or three-phase power, delivering up to 7 kW on single-phase connections or up to 22 kW on three-phase connections. The series includes the Eco Life model with LED indicators and the Eco Premium model, which features a five-inch display for monitoring voltage, current, and energy delivery.
