MSI launches pre‑order of Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld gaming console in Poland

MSI has opened pre‑orders for its new Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld gaming console through MSI Poland, pricing it at 6 699 zł. The first shipments are scheduled for 1 September 2026. The device targets premium mobile gamers and is powered by an Intel Arc G3 Extreme 14‑core processor (up to 4.7 GHz), an integrated Arc B390 GPU and a 46 TOPS NPU for AI features such as Intel XeSS 3. It ships with an 8‑inch FHD+ 120 Hz display covering 100 % sRGB, an 80 Wh battery, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 1 TB PCIe 4 SSD and a range of ergonomic controls including Hall‑effect joysticks, a high‑precision D‑pad and a fingerprint sensor.

A review of the console notes three power modes – AI (default), Endurance (which caps framerate at 30 fps and extends battery life to about four‑five hours) and Manual – allowing users to adjust CPU power limits. The unit’s cooling system (Cooler Boost HyperFlow) and large battery are highlighted as key for sustained performance.

In Japan, Sofmap began accepting reservations for the same model (catalog number CLAW‑8EXAI+CG3EM‑406JP) on 29 July, emphasizing the same 120 Hz display, strong GPU, and high‑capacity battery, confirming a coordinated global launch.
