MSI launches new Modern S Copilot+ PCs and Amazon hosts laptop sales

MSI Computer Japan has announced the release of its new “Modern S” series business laptops, available exclusively through its official online shop. The lineup includes the 14-inch “Modern 14S AI+ G3M” and the 16-inch “Modern 16S AI+ G3M,” both featuring Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processors. Designed as Copilot+ PCs, these models support AI-driven productivity and creative workflows. The 14-inch model is priced from 254,800 yen, while the 16-inch model starts at 259,800 yen. Both feature aluminum alloy chassis, WUXGA displays with 120Hz refresh rates, and various connectivity options including USB Type-C and HDMI.

Separately, Amazon Japan is conducting a “Smile Sale” from August 28 to September 3, offering significant discounts on various high-performance laptops. Notable deals include an MSI “Crosshair 16 HX E14W” gaming laptop equipped with a GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, priced at 394,800 yen after a 40,000 yen discount. Other participating brands include ASUS, with discounts on TUF Gaming and ROG Zephyrus models, and Acer, featuring a discount on the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI.
