MSI launches premium Aegis gaming desktop and cuts price of Codex R2 PC

MSI unveiled its high‑end Aegis ZS2 gaming desktop, equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU, 32 GB DDR5 memory, a 2 TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. The system includes liquid cooling, a tempered‑glass chassis with RGB lighting and ships with Windows 11 Home, keyboard and mouse for a total price of $3,199.99.

Separately, retailer Woot reduced the price of MSI’s Codex R2 gaming desktop by $900, bringing it down from $2,300 to $1,400. The Codex R2 features an Intel Core i5‑14400F processor, an NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU, 32 GB DDR5 memory, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, Wi‑Fi 6E and Windows 11 Home, and is designed for easy future upgrades.
