MSI launches Prestige N16 Flip AI+ while Microsoft Surface Laptop 15 Intel model sees high performance

MSI has launched the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ in Poland, a 2-in-1 convertible laptop featuring a 360-degree hinge and support for the MSI Nano Pen. The device offers high-end display options, including 2.8K OLED or UHD+ Tandem OLED panels with 120 Hz refresh rates and high color accuracy. It is designed for local AI processing using the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X platform to enhance security and reduce latency.

In a separate development, reviews of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 15 Gen 8 indicate that the Intel-based model outperforms the Snapdragon version in GPU performance, application compatibility, and connectivity via Thunderbolt 4. While the Snapdragon variant may offer higher CPU performance, the Intel model provides better battery life and a superior integrated GPU. However, the device faces some thermal limitations due to its single-fan cooling system and a 65W power supply that may limit performance under sustained heavy loads.
