MSI unveils Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld with Intel Arc G3 Extreme at Computex
At Computex 2026 in Taipei, MSI introduced the Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld gaming PC. The device runs on Intel's Arc G3 Extreme GPU built on the Xe architecture and supports XeSS 3, Multi‑Frame Generation and Xe Low‑Latency technologies to boost frame rates while managing power and heat. It features an 8‑inch 120 Hz VRR screen, 32 GB of LPDDR5X‑8533 memory, an 80 Wh battery and a design with Hall‑effect sticks, upgraded D‑pad and linear haptic motors.
The launch marks one of the first portable PCs to use an Intel Arc processor, aiming at a market currently led by AMD‑based handhelds such as the Steam Deck, ROG Ally and Legion Go. MSI also showcased other new laptops, including the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition and various AI‑powered models, extending its latest product line.
