MSI unveils new QD-OLED monitors: 27‑inch 4K PRO MAX and 34‑inch ultra‑wide gaming model
MSI has launched two new QD-OLED displays. The 27‑inch "PRO MAX 271UPXW12G" features a 4K UHD panel with a fourth‑generation QD‑OLED stack, 120 Hz refresh, 0.03 ms response, HDR True Black 400 certification and support for MSI M‑Mate software that synchronises colour profiles with MacBook computers. The monitor entered general sales in late June, with a retail price of $709.99 on Amazon US.
The 34‑inch "MPG 341CQR" ultra‑wide gaming monitor uses a fifth‑generation QD‑OLED panel with an RGB‑stripe sub‑pixel arrangement that reduces colour bleed and improves text sharpness. It offers a 3440×1440 resolution, 360 Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response, 1300 nits peak brightness, HDR True Black 500 certification and a proprietary "Dark Armor" film that cuts light‑reflection and deepens black levels while increasing surface hardness by 2.5 times.
