MÜSİAD EXPO 2026 concludes in Istanbul with focus on Turkish exports
The 21st MÜSİAD EXPO International Trade Fair concluded at the Istanbul Expo Center, showcasing the production capacity of Turkish industry across 18 sectors. The event featured 369 companies and attracted over 80,000 visitors, including 400 international buying delegations from 70 countries.
During the closing ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highlighted the significant growth in Turkish exports, noting that the number of exporting companies has risen from 33,000 in 2002 to 168,000 in 2025. He also emphasized the importance of integrating human values into the development of artificial intelligence.
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat expressed optimism regarding national economic targets, stating a goal to reach $410 billion in total goods and services exports by the end of the year. He noted that goods exports over the last 12 months have already exceeded $280 billion. MÜSİAD President Burhan Özdemir remarked that the expo has evolved into a major regional platform, bridging local manufacturers from Anatolia with global markets.
