MSIG Life pays Rp 545 billion in insurance claims during H1 2026

PT MSIG Life Insurance Indonesia Tbk (MSIG Life) reported paying a total of Rp 545 billion in health and death claims during the first semester of 2026. This total includes Rp 433.4 billion for health claims and Rp 111.8 billion for death benefits.

Data regarding individual policyholders revealed that 55% of death claims occurred within the productive age group of 25 to 59 years. Specifically, 2% of claims involved individuals under 25, 13% were aged 25 to 44, 42% were aged 45 to 59, and 43% were aged 60 and above.

The company maintains a Risk Based Capital (RBC) ratio of 1,382%, which significantly exceeds the 120% minimum requirement set by the OJK. MSIG Life highlighted the importance of financial stability for families, noting that insurance benefits help maintain financial continuity when a breadwinner is lost.
