MSIG Malaysia partners with EPIC Homes to support Orang Asli families

MSIG Insurance (Malaysia) Bhd has reaffirmed its partnership with EPIC Homes to support Orang Asli families through a combination of housing initiatives and fire insurance protection. The collaboration aims to strengthen community resilience by providing financial security for homes built by EPIC Homes.

In Simpang Pulai, MSIG Malaysia supported the completion of two new homes this year. During the project, employees participated in volunteer builds in July and September to assist in providing improved living conditions for beneficiary families.

CEO Ang Yien Chia stated that the initiative aims to provide homeowners with confidence through financial support during unforeseen events. The utility of the program was noted in 2025, when insurance coverage helped fund necessary repairs for a home damaged during a storm.
