MSPO 2026: New weapon stations and Neptun missiles unveiled

At the MSPO 2026 international defense industry exhibition, several new military technologies were unveiled. Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów S.A., part of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A., presented the ZSMU A3K remote-controlled weapon station. Designed with waterproofing capabilities for deep wading up to 2 meters, the system was originally conceived for K2 tanks but is now offered as a universal solution for various vehicles, including the Legwan LPR 4x4. The station can be equipped with 12.7mm machine guns, such as the WKB-BM9 or Browning M2, and is operated by a single soldier.

Additionally, Ukraine's state design bureau, Łucz, showcased the Neptun missile system in three distinct versions. The standard R-360 Neptun is an anti-ship cruise missile with a range of up to 300 km. A modified land-attack variant is designed to destroy stationary targets at distances of 360–400 km using advanced optoelectronic and IR sensors. A third, long-range version known as Neptun-D features a larger diameter and a heavier warhead, capable of strategic strikes up to 1,000 km using terrain-following flight technology.
