Lukas Kwasniok sues 1. FC Köln over contract dispute

In German sports, former 1. FC Köln head coach Lukas Kwasniok has filed a lawsuit against the club at the Cologne Labor Court. The dispute concerns a contractual clause that allegedly reduced his salary by 50 percent following his dismissal in March 2026. Kwasniok, whose contract runs until June 2028, is seeking full remuneration. A chamber hearing is scheduled for February 16, 2027.
