MSV Duisburg stadium to get new greenkeeper following pitch criticism

Duisburg Stadionmanagement GmbH (DSM) has announced the appointment of a new greenkeeper to address ongoing criticism regarding the pitch quality at the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena, the home of MSV Duisburg.

DSM Managing Director Christopher Mainka acknowledged that a new turf installed in August, costing approximately 150,000 euros, failed to meet professional football standards. Mainka expressed regret over the investment and apologized to MSV Duisburg Managing Director Michael Preetz. The company intends to use the upcoming international break to significantly improve the playing surface before MSV Duisburg's next home match on October 10.
