Mszana Dolna residents vote in dual referendums

Residents of Mszana Dolna are participating in two simultaneous referendums to decide the future of their local government. The votes address the potential removal of Mayor Mirosław Cichorz before the end of his term, as well as the dismissal of the entire municipal council.

The dual referendums stem from a long-standing conflict within the local administration. While the vote regarding the municipal council was initiated by residents who collected the necessary signatures, the vote concerning the mayor was ordered following a resolution by the municipal council. The mayor has called for high voter turnout to resolve the ongoing political dispute.
