Mszana Południe to host TARAN 2026 emergency rescue drill

Emergency services will conduct a large-scale rescue drill titled "TARAN 2026" at the Mszana Południe service area on the A1 motorway. The exercise is designed to simulate a mass casualty road accident to test the coordination and preparedness of various responding agencies.

Participants include firefighters from the Wodzisław Śląski State Fire Service, volunteer fire departments, police, medical rescue teams, the Border Guard, Territorial Defense Forces (WOT), and representatives from the District Crisis Management Center. Czech firefighters are also expected to participate. The drill will focus on providing qualified first aid, evacuating victims, and managing logistics during a major transportation disaster.
