Mészáros Group provides assistance for water management in Hungary
The Mészáros Group has announced that its subsidiary, D. C. THERM Üzemi Szolgáltató Kft., began assisting the National Water Directorate prior to any official public call for aid following recent flooding and water management issues.
At the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, the company is working on the cold water channel, performing tasks such as algae removal and assisting with the opening and closing of sediment traps. The group is providing specialized boats and technical experts to support water management efforts.
Additionally, in response to prolonged heatwaves and drinking water shortages across various parts of the country, the group’s subsidiary Aqua Lorenzo Kft. has offered 450,000 liters of Aqua Minera carbon-free mineral water. The company noted that these contributions were made proactively without a formal request from authorities, though it expressed a willingness to continue cooperating with experts and systemic coordination if officially requested.
