MT Group wins contract to build balance‑of‑plant for Brunsbüttel LNG terminal in Germany

MT Group, an EPC contractor specialising in strategic energy and industrial infrastructure, has been awarded a major construction contract by the Cobra IS/Sener consortium. The contract covers the balance‑of‑plant work for the Brunsbüttel LNG terminal, developed by German LNG Terminal GmbH. The terminal, slated for completion in 2027, will initially regasify up to 10 billion m³ per year of natural gas, bolstering German and European energy security.

Executive Director Kristina Norvaišiene said, “We are proud to have been selected by Cobra IS and Sener for a project of such strategic importance to Germany and Europe.” The award marks one of MT Group’s largest projects in Germany and reinforces its role in Europe’s long‑term energy resilience strategy.
