Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx addressed fan questions on X about the band's use of backing tracks, insisting that the group performs 100 % live. He compared the practice to historic acts such as Queen, noting that pre‑recorded orchestral or saxophone parts are synced with live playing and that accusations from former guitarist Mick Mars are unfounded.

Sixx also revealed that Mötley Crüe will no longer issue full albums, opting instead to release individual singles. With guitarist John 5—who replaced Mick Mars—the band has already put out tracks like “Dogs of War” and plans to continue this single‑release strategy moving forward.
