MTN Ghana launches Bright Scholars Alumni Network

The MTN Ghana Foundation has launched the Bright Scholars Alumni Network in Accra. The platform is designed to connect more than 1,200 scholarship beneficiaries, providing them with mentorship, CV reviews, job connections, and peer support to bridge professional networking gaps.

Since its inception in 2017, the MTN Bright Scholarship program has supported 1,222 students, including 299 who earned first-class honours. The foundation provided assistance through tuition, accommodation, laptops, and book stipends.

MTN has reaffirmed its commitment to education by announcing 1,500 new scholarships to be awarded over the next three years, with 500 scheduled for this year. The initiative also includes support for teachers seeking to upgrade their qualifications.
