MTN Nigeria faces complaint over rapid data depletion

Nigerian lawyer Zaenab Olawunmi Adams has filed a formal complaint against MTN Nigeria following the rapid depletion of her 800GB annual data plan. Adams reported that approximately 708.55GB of her data was consumed within 104 days, leaving her with only 91.45GB remaining.

Adams disputes the recorded usage, stating her internet activities are limited to routine tasks such as social media, messaging, and browsing on a single mobile device. She noted that she is not a heavy user, does not use multiple devices on the line, and is not a gamer.

To resolve the discrepancy, Adams has demanded a comprehensive technical audit from MTN Nigeria. She requested detailed records from May 15 to August 27, including a chronological statement of deductions, the specific date and time of each session, and the exact volume of data consumed during those sessions.
