MTV Roadies gang leaders reflect on show's evolution

Television personalities Nikhil Chinappa, Abhishek Malhan, and Prince Narula have shared reflections on the upcoming 21st season of ‘MTV Roadies’, where they will serve as gang leaders.

Nikhil Chinappa expressed excitement about returning to the show, noting that while he misses the “OG version” and its unpredictable nature, he values the show’s ability to transform ordinary people into household names. Abhishek Malhan, known as “Fukra Insaan”, remarked on the irony of his new role, noting that he previously believed he would “do anything in life but never Roadies” during the era of hosts Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman.

Prince Narula, a former winner and gang leader, noted that while the show remains high-pressure, modern government guidelines have prevented the recreation of the “rough, raw” and dangerous tasks seen in earlier seasons. He suggested that the presence of six different gang leaders this season may increase the competitive pressure for contestants.
