Muş Şehir Stadyumu begins grass laying following heating system installation

Renovation and modernization works are nearing completion at Muş Şehir Stadyumu in Turkey. As part of investments by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the installation of an underfloor heating system has been completed to ensure the pitch remains playable during harsh winter conditions and heavy snowfall.

Following the completion of sand spreading, workers have begun the natural grass laying phase. The project aims to finish grass laying by the end of the week, followed by a one-week hybrid grass application process. Yusuf Kılıç, the Muş Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, stated that if no setbacks occur, the pitch should be ready within approximately 15 days, allowing time for the grass to integrate with the soil.

The stadium, which has a capacity of approximately 8,000 spectators, is expected to host its first match against Adana Demirspor once the works are finalized.
