Muş producer exports fresh and dried vegetables to Europe

Yücel Levent, a producer from Mercimekkale village in Muş, Turkey, has developed a business model that connects local agricultural production to both domestic and international markets. For approximately 11 years, Levent has cultivated vegetables such as peppers, zucchini, eggplant, and tomatoes in his own fields.

In addition to selling fresh produce at a roadside stall on the Erzurum road, Levent sun-dries a portion of the harvest to create winter stocks. These products are distributed to various provinces across Turkey. Furthermore, Levent exports both fresh and dried vegetables to Europe, specifically targeting demand from the Turkish diaspora in France and Germany.
