Muaná Police seize stolen motorcycles during maritime operation
The Military Police conducted an intelligence-led operation known as ‘Operation Zero Tolerance’ in the Marajó Archipelago, resulting in the seizure of two stolen motorcycles.
Authorities identified that the vehicles were being transported by boat from Belém to the interior of Muaná. During an interception near the village of Ponta Negra, officers discovered two Honda Bros motorcycles. One vehicle showed signs of license plate cloning and was registered as stolen or stolen, while the second had a prior report of theft.
The boat commander stated he was being paid R$ 1,200 to transport the motorcycles to a recipient near the village of Pracuúba, though the identity of the sender and receiver remains unknown. The seized motorcycles have been taken to the Muaná Civil Police Station.
