The film ‘Camp Miasma: Teenage Sex and Death’ is set to debut exclusively on the streaming platform MUBI on October 2. Written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun, the meta-slasher film follows a young director tasked with rebooting a horror franchise who encounters the reclusive star of the original films.

The cast features Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson, alongside Eva Victor, Zach Cherry, Sarah Sherman, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. The film, which previously won the Queer Palm at Cannes, explores themes of trans identity, media mythology, and queer horror.

This release coincides with the upcoming publication of Schoenbrun’s first novel, ‘Public Access Afterworld’, scheduled for release on October 27.
