MudHen Beach Baseball Tournament in Wildwood Hosts 80 Youth Teams

The MudHen Beach Baseball Tournament returned for its 11th year on the Rio Grande Avenue beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, featuring 80 youth baseball teams from the region. The event runs over two consecutive weekends, August 7‑9 and August 14‑16, 2026, on five sand‑carved diamonds beside the Wildwoods Convention Center and boardwalk.

Teams compete in age divisions from 9U to 12U, with each guaranteed at least three games. The schedule includes a Friday home‑run derby, pool‑play on Saturday and semifinals and a championship on Sunday. Morey's Piers sponsors the tournament, providing wristbands that give players and coaches access to its amusement rides and beachfront water parks. Admission for spectators is free, with vendor booths, equipment demos and other beach‑side activities available.
