The fourth edition of the Muestra Mexicana del Cebú is currently underway at the Parque Tabasco ‘Dora María’ livestock area. The event features 796 specimens from 87 producers representing the states of Tabasco, Chiapas, Nuevo León, and Veracruz.

Inaugurated by Governor Javier May Rodríguez, the exhibition highlights genetic advancements in the Zebu breed. The event also includes participants from the ‘Crédito Ganadero a la Palabra’ program, a state government initiative aimed at revitalizing the local primary sector and restoring national livestock quality.

The schedule includes various breed judging sessions throughout the week, covering Simbrah, Sindi, Beefmaster, Gyr, Guzerat, Nelore, Sardo Negro, and Brahman. The event is set to conclude on August 30 with a ‘Niño manejador’ contest and a parade of champions.
