Muez hosts major Bertsolaris festival in Guesálaz Valley

A high-level Bertsolaris festival will take place on Sunday, September 6, at the Muez Sports Center in the Guesálaz Valley. Part of the ‘Los Ecos de Otoño en Tierras de Iranzu’ cultural program, the event offers free admission to the public.

The lineup features prominent figures of oral improvisation, including three-time Bertsolari Txapelketa Nagusi winner Maialen Lujanbio and Bizkaia champion Onintza Enbeita. Representing Navarra are five-time champion Julio Soto Ezkurdia and rising talent Joanes Illarregi. The event is organized by the Asociación Tierras de Iranzu and the Guesálaz Valley City Council, in collaboration with the Government of Navarra and Laboral Kutxa, aiming to highlight female leadership in the tradition.
