Mugello Circuit motorbike rider dies during track day

A motorcyclist was killed during a track‑day event at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello on 30 July. The session was organized by the British company No Limits Trackdays, which confirmed the death in a statement signed by its chief executive Mark Neate and expressed condolences to the rider’s family.

Preliminary information suggests a mechanical failure caused an oil leak that left a slick on the racing surface, leading to the rider’s loss of control and fatal crash. Italian authorities are investigating the exact cause, and No Limits Trackdays said it will cooperate fully and review safety procedures with the circuit and its partners.
