Mugello steps up security, road checks before 2026 Italian Grand Prix

Security firm Fi.Fa. Security confirmed it will deploy around 400 personnel at the Mugello Circuit for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix scheduled for 29‑31 May, reinforcing its role as the primary safety provider for the event.

In the days leading up to the race, local authorities conducted traffic safety checks on motorcycles at the Passo del Giogo (SP 503) on 9 May. The operation involved 12 officers from the Unione Mugello police and six from the Città Metropolitana police, assisted by an engineer from the Motor... organization, targeting violations such as non‑compliant licence plates, missed vehicle inspections, and irregular documentation.
