Muhabbet BBQ restaurant opens in Velp
Muhabbet BBQ officially opened its doors at Middellaan 5 in Velp on October 24. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr. Budak, the chairman of the Ayasofya mosque in Arnhem.
The restaurant focuses on Turkish culinary culture, emphasizing fire-based cooking and communal dining. The menu features grilled meats prepared with wood and charcoal to provide characteristic smoky aromas, utilizing fresh ingredients, olive oil, and special marinades. Guests have the option of a la carte dining or an 'all you can eat' format, including the ability to grill meat themselves on table BBQs.
Beyond barbecue, the establishment offers a wide variety of Turkish specialties, including pide, lahmacun, and various mezze such as cacık, haydari, and çiğ köfte. Starting in early November, the restaurant will also introduce traditional Turkish breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
