Muhammadiyah and SBPAC Thailand sign educational scholarship MoU
Muhammadiyah and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC) of Thailand have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen educational cooperation. The agreement, signed in Jakarta, focuses on establishing scholarship programs for students from Thailand's southern provinces, including Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and parts of Songkhla.
Under the agreement, students from these regions will have opportunities to pursue higher education at Muhammadiyah universities. Technical implementation will be managed by the Muhammadiyah Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development. The specific scholarship amounts and funding details will be determined through coordination between the central organization and the individual participating universities to ensure the programs meet both student needs and institutional capacities.
