Muhammadiyah opens Toko Oleh-Oleh 1915 retail store in Yogyakarta

Suara Muhammadiyah has officially launched 'Toko Oleh-Oleh 1915' in Yogyakarta to strengthen the organization's economic ecosystem. Located at Grha Suara Muhammadiyah on Jalan Ahmad Dahlan, the retail outlet aims to market products from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) belonging to Muhammadiyah members and the local community.

Muhammadiyah Central Leadership Chairman Agus Taufiqurrahman stated that the store is part of a broader effort to build an economic ecosystem for the community. This expansion follows Suara Muhammadiyah's evolution from a writing-focused media outlet established in 1915 into various sectors, including tourism, Sharia hotels, and restaurants.

Muhammadiyah General Chairman Haedar Nashir visited the newly inaugurated store, praising its innovation and potential. He encouraged both Muhammadiyah members and the general public to visit the shop when traveling to Yogyakarta, noting that the initiative serves as a way to expand community empowerment and social outreach through economic activity.
