Doç. Dr. Muhammed Raşid Aykota, a general surgery specialist based in Denizli focusing on obesity and metabolic surgery, has achieved two major international surgical distinctions in 2026.

First, Aykota successfully completed the European Board of Surgery Qualification process in Malaga, Spain, earning the Fellow of the European Board of Surgery (FEBS) title. He reportedly achieved the highest score in the scientific section of the examination.
