Mujaddidun Islamic Institute proprietor urges religious education for brilliant students

Ustaz Habeeb Shittu, proprietor of the Mujaddidun Islamic Institute for Qur’anic Memorisation, Arabic and Islamic Knowledge, has urged parents to provide brilliant and promising children with religious and moral education alongside modern academic studies.

Speaking at the 4th Islamic Convention and graduation ceremony in Okuku, Osun State, Shittu challenged the common practice of sending only average or troublesome students to religious schools while enrolling high-achieving children in secular universities. He argued that all students benefit from religious knowledge and that nurturing virtuous, morally equipped students leads to greater success in higher institutions both in Nigeria and abroad.

Guest speaker Sheikh Ibraheem Raji also addressed the graduates, advising them to pursue learning for the sake of humanity and faith rather than material gain.
