Mujo Mujević criminal group linked to cigarette smuggling

Encrypted Sky ECC communications have revealed details regarding a criminal organization involving Mujo Mujević, which engaged in large-scale cigarette smuggling through the Free Zone of the Port of Bar in Montenegro.

Messages from June 2020 indicate that a co-organizer of the group negotiated with a factory to supply the Montenegrin market. While the factory reportedly refused to provide a one-million-euro guarantee, it allegedly promised that no other entities would send specific cigarette brands, such as Cosmopolitan and Donatella, into Montenegro.

The intercepted chats also detail the movement of containers in the port and discussions regarding various cigarette brands. Furthermore, the communications suggest links to Kosovo, with one organizer mentioning potential quarantine measures in Pristina during the COVID-19 pandemic.
