Mukesh Ambani advocates for women in leadership and human intelligence over AI

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani emphasized the importance of women in leadership and the limitations of artificial intelligence during the launch of Arundhati Bhattacharya’s memoir, ‘Indomitable’ (or ‘Aparajita’ in Hindi).

Speaking at the event in Mumbai, Ambani stated that AI can never replace human natural intelligence. He argued that the modern world requires a higher emotional quotient (EQ) than intellectual quotient (IQ), suggesting that women bring valuable empathy and strategic clarity to corporate boardrooms.

Ambani praised Bhattacharya, the former Chairperson of the State Bank of India and a current independent director on the Reliance Industries Board, describing her as a natural problem-solver. He noted that India’s progress would accelerate as more women are empowered to take on leadership roles.
